EPIPHANY is a Greek word that means Revelation, as in: Christ Revealed.
KAIROS is also a Greek word that means: The Right Time
or Moment of Opportunity.

EPIPHANY and KAIROS Prison Ministries are very similar.
For three days, our team of about 40 or 50 volunteers goes into
a prison where 36 to 42 prisoners gather at tables for
a short course in Christianity.

Each of the 6 to 8 table groups is guided by three volunteers
and these groups soon take on the characteristics of a sharing family.
For many prisoners, this will be their first experience in a
listening, loving family.

We bring in outside food, play lots of music, and provide
plenty of discussion and activities after every talk about the various
aspects of our Christian faith.

If you could condense the Epiphany / Kairos experience down to its
fundamental core, you would find LOVE at its heart.
Not just any kind of love, but the AGAPE kind of love.
AGAPE is another Greek word that means unconditional love.
It is the unconditional love of Christ with no strings attached,
delivered in wave after wave by we who are His family here on earth.
